I don’t know about you, but as someone who lives in Ohio (where we have been having a LOT of snow lately - including right now), I am totally ready for spring to arrive! So, I’m busting out my favorite spring fabric prints in eager anticipation of the warm sunny days and cool nights ahead! I LOVE floral prints and geometric prints in particular so when I stumbled upon this fun Psychedelic Circles fabric print that I had stashed securely in one of the many fabric totes in my studio, I felt inspired to make a mask for myself.
I love batik cotton prints in particular because it gives off watercolor and tie-dye vibes. Plus geometric prints remind me of Alex Gray art which I adore - so this print is PERFECT for me! I have plenty more where this came from, including additional batik prints that I picked up recently, so be sure to snag one for yourself before it’s sold out! It seems fashion masks will be a staple part of our wardrobe for a while to come. To keep them at an accessible price point for all, I will post some of my batik print masks at only $15 each (which are valued at $30) - what a steal!
That’s the latest! Welcome to my new blog page! In this blog, I will primarily be discussing the role of fast fashion in the fashion industry, how damaging it can be to the workers, our planet and brand reputation as well as how to be a conscious consumer that uses the power of buying to support ethically sound and sustainable fashion brands for the greater good of the planet.
